Giorgi Sibashvili is a FIDE-titled International Master and chess streamer whose online handle is, refreshingly, just his own name. No gimmicks, no alter ego, just a man named Giorgi who would very much like to play bullet chess with you. The classic Georgian "shvili" ending of his surname hints at his roots, and his playing style hints at everything else: patient, relentless, and quietly terrifying with a queen on the loose.
The Road to the 3000 Club
When Giorgi first appeared online in December 2017, his bullet rating was knocking politely on the door of 2000. What followed was less a climb and more a land grab. By 2018 he was brushing 2600 in blitz, and by 2021 his bullet rating had burst past 2750. Then came 2026, the year of the double: a blitz peak of 3005 in July, followed by a bullet peak of 3002 (2026-08-08) in August. Two memberships in the 3000 club, twelve days apart.
