What’s already strong

• Creative openings such as the St-George, Modern, and off-beat flank pawn pushes frequently pull opponents out of theory.
• Tactical eye: you spot forcing continuations like 24…Rxd1+!! followed by 25…Rcc1 (vs majorsen) and 29…Qxd3!! in the Modern game.
• Rook activity: “two rooks on the 7th” conversion was textbook in several wins.
• Fighting spirit: even with <10 s you continue finding resources and swindles.

Prime improvement levers

1. Time management
   • 5 of your last 6 losses were on time in equal or winning positions.
   • Aim to spend <10 s in the first 10 moves; bank time for critical middlegames.
   • Use safe pre-moves (forced recaptures, king moves in checks).
   • Daily 30-second “pattern-flash” drills will train instant recognition.
2. King safety before pawn storms
   In the A41 loss you advanced the f- and g-pawns while half-developed; the back rank collapsed after 27…Nf4?.
   Rule of thumb: connect rooks and tuck the king before launching wing pawns.
3. Moderate the early flank-pawn pushes
   …g5, …h5, …a6 are fun but concede dark-square holes (f6, h6, c6). Mix in one solid main-line every session (e.g. Caro-Kann vs 1.e4, King’s Indian vs 1.d4) so you can play the first 10 moves on autopilot and save clock.
4. Critical-moment calculation
   Diagram: after 28…Qh3? (A41 game) you allowed 29.Qe8+! and perpetual pressure.
   Best was 28…Rg8!, keeping the queen near your king.
