Hi AliKhatibShahidi!

You are steadily climbing through the 400-500 bullet range – congratulations on that progress (662 (2025-04-22)). I’ve reviewed your most recent games (both wins and losses) and put together some constructive feedback to help you level-up faster.

1. What you already do well

  • Fast tactical vision. Your win against ceepiyir finished with …20…Rxf3, spotting a back-rank motif in under two seconds. Quick pattern recognition is a big strength at this time control.
  • Initiative-first mindset. Even when material down you keep pieces active (e.g. 13.Bb5+ in your mini-mate of snehasah123455). That fighting spirit pays off in bullet.
  • Not afraid to castle long or keep the king in the centre. In several wins you correctly judged when the opponent’s pieces couldn’t reach you in time. Good practical feel.

2. Biggest improvement areas

  1. Time management – convert your advantages!
    • All five recent losses were decided on the clock, not on the board.
    • Typical pattern: you reach a promising or equal position with ≤ 5 seconds, then flag while looking for the “best” move.
Fix: play two-phase bullet. Use the first 30-40 seconds for quality; after that, switch to “pre-move + simple threats” mode. When clearly winning, pre-move forcing lines (checks, captures, threats) rather than calculating new variations.
  2. Opening efficiency.
As White: you like 1.d4 Nc3/Nf3 Bg5 ideas, but spend tempo shuffling bishops (Bg5-Be3-Bd2…). Replace this with a simple system where your bishops go to d3 & e2 only once.
As Black: your Scandinavian (…d5 dxe4) is fine, but vs 4.Bc4 you nearly always drop material or fall behind in development.
    Fix:
    • Memorise the critical antidote: 1.e4 d5 2.Nf3 dxe4 3.Ne5 Nf6 4.Bc4 e6 5.d4 exd3 6.cxd3 Nc6 → play
    • or switch to the “Modern Scandinavian” with 2…Nf6, avoiding the main minefield completely.
  3. Endgame conversion.
In the loss to trungkienhtdn you were an exchange up but flagged in a winning rook ending. Basic endgame technique lets you pre-move confidently.
Fix: Drill KR vs K, K+P races and Lucena positions for 5 minutes daily; they quickly become automatic pre-moves in bullet.

3. Micro-lessons from your latest games

PositionIdeaTake-away
You punished early king walks with tempo-gaining checks. Keep pieces co-ordinated and target the uncastled king – perfect bullet strategy.
(loss vs zahhn121, after 24.Qh5+ …Rg6) You repeated checks to drive Kf8 but ignored the clock. When time is critical, repeat only if it adds increment or forces mate; otherwise simplify.

4. Suggested study plan (15 min/day)

  1. 5 min: Premove endgames on a mobile app (KR-K, KP-K).
  2. 5 min: Scandinavian sideline drill – set up the 4.Bc4 line and play vs engine till move 10, aiming to keep a 10-second time lead.
  3. 5 min: Tactics trainer (rated 300-800). Focus on forks & skewers which appear often in your games.

Keep it up!

You already have the tactical punch needed for 600+. Iron out the time-trouble and opening leaks, and that milestone will come quickly. Good luck and enjoy the grind!
