AlQuadir: The National Master and Chess Connoisseur

Meet AlQuadir, a National Master who’s been quietly storming chessboards since at least 2009. With a flair for fast-paced bullet and blitz chess, AlQuadir lives in the fast lane, preferring lightning strikes over slow and steady. Their bullet chess peak rating is a blistering 2427 achieved in November 2020, and their blitz prowess peaks even higher at 2498 – clearly, this player thrives when the clock ticks down!

Known for an insanely high Early Resignation Rate (a daring 61.52%), AlQuadir isn’t afraid to admit defeat early — or cunningly force the opponent into resignation first. They play the endgame about a third of the time, showing both patience and precision when it counts. Their average moves per win hover around 28, but don’t bet against them prolonging a loss with 30+ moves of gritty resistance.

White pieces bring out their best: a winning rate of over 56%, while playing Black is no slouch either at nearly 54%. A comeback artist too, with a 33.4% comeback rate, AlQuadir often turns the tides when the chips are down. Having a tilt factor of 19 means they keep their cool quite well, even under pressure (for the most part – who hasn’t flipped a board or two?). The best time to catch AlQuadir online is around 2 pm, perfect for sneaking in some wins over lunch break.

Their secret weapon? An enigmatic and mysterious opening style classified as "Top Secret" — but clearly it's been good for over 54% wins in bullet and 55% in blitz. Most recent games showcase tactical finesse and brutal precision, often finishing with checkmates that leave opponents bewildered.

Beyond stats, AlQuadir’s enthusiasm is contagious. Whether it’s a checkmate in 33 moves or a narrow loss on time, every game is a page in a grand chess tale full of daring gambits and positional storytelling. If you fancy challenging a master who moves fast, strikes hard, and loves to keep opponents guessing, AlQuadir is your player.

Note: AlQuadir’s game links and recent victories are often one right-click away from your greatest chess lesson — or spectacular blunder!

Your current status

• Peak rating so far: 2498 (2020-04-28) (great job breaking into the 2300-2400 bracket!).
• Consistently high win-rate during late-night sessions – see

What you already do very well

  1. Initiative-driven openings
Your preference for 0-0-0 with White (Pirc crush vs. BOZZOCHESS123) and dynamic Sicilians with Black generates rich positions where your tactical eye shines.
  2. Pawn storms & piece coordination
Typical sequence: h/g-pawn thrusts, queen lift (Qh6/Qh7), and a rook swing – 33.Rh1# was textbook.
  3. Tactical alertness
You spot forcing continuations quickly. Several games feature timely deflections and zwischenzugs (Zwischenzug).
  4. Practical decision-making
You rarely hesitate to sacrifice material for initiative (24.Bxg7, 27.h4, etc.), a critical quality in fast chess.

Key areas to improve

  1. Clock management – Three of your last six losses were on time, often in favorable positions (e.g. vs. vadzka and fgaefaf2). A simple time-budget rule (≤15 s by move 20, ≤5 s by move 30) will save many points.
  2. Endgame technique
    • Lost rook endgame vs. oliversick from a drawable position.
    • Allowed perpetual-check chances before flagging.
➜ Add 15 min of rook-and-pawn drills to each study session; practice winning “extra-pawn” rook endings and defending Philidor/Lucena.
  3. Defensive awareness
Aggressive setups sometimes leave back-rank or dark-square holes (see 26…Rea8?! in the B54 loss). Inject one move of prophylaxis during calculation – “What does my opponent want?” – before committing to the next attacking push.
  4. Opening depth vs. strong opposition
Your repertoire is sound but occasionally drifts out of book early (fast g-pawn Dutch, Scandinavian sidelines). Refresh critical lines up to move 10–12 with engine aid and build a concise memory palace of typical motifs rather than raw moves.

Action plan (next 4 weeks)

FocusWeekly targets
Clock disciplinePlay 20 games with 1|1 or 3|2; review only the games where you flagged.
Rook endgamesComplete 40 endings on a trainer & annotate 2 of your own games that reached R+P vs R.
Tactics30 puzzle-rush attempts (score ≥35) emphasizing deflection & double-attack motifs.
Opening refreshBuild flashcards for key tabiya in the Sicilian B54 and Dutch Staunton lines; test yourself until you recall 90 %.

Mindset tips

  • Enter each session with a goal (e.g. “play solidly with Black”); leave when fatigue sets in.
  • After every loss, tag the single worst decision instead of re-living the whole game – this keeps reviews short and focused.
  • Remember that sacrificing ten seconds to find a clean conversion often saves the game compared to blitzing and flagging.

Keep harnessing your natural attacking flair while tightening the technical screws – minor time and endgame upgrades will push you well beyond your current 2498 (2020-04-28). Good luck!
