Arthur Moura: The Bullet Machine
If chess had a treadmill, Arthur Moura (username arthuuur) would have worn it out by now. A National Master, Arthur has done something almost no human should attempt: he has played over 21,000 bullet games and lived to tell the tale. His fingers must be made of titanium.
Arthur's journey began back in 2014, when a lone bullet game ended in defeat and, presumably, a promise of revenge. Since then he has racked up a staggering volume of speed chess, climbing from club-level play all the way past 2000 in his preferred time control. His peak bullet rating of 2038 (2017-07-14) came during a legendary summer run in 2017, when he was playing hundreds of games a month like a man possessed by the clock itself.
