Every chess player has a comfort zone. Some hide behind the Sicilian, some retreat into the Caro-Kann, and some, like BethRussel, simply play the Four Knights Game until opponents start having nightmares about a modest little knight move on move three. With over 126 blitz games in that opening alone and a win rate hovering near 70 percent, BethRussel has turned "boring classical chess" into a genuine weapon. Turns out the knights were the friends we made along the way.
