He kept grinding through late 2024 and throughout 2025, eventually touching a peak rating of 2810 (2025-12-17) in December 2025. That places him among the very strongest blitz players on the site.
A Repertoire Built on English and Caro-Kann
BlackWood03's opening tastes are remarkably consistent. As White, he leans heavily on the English Opening in all of its flavors, from the Agincourt Defense to the Drill Variation. As Black, his bedrock is the Caro-Kann Defense, which he has played more than 440 times in blitz, and he rounds out his black repertoire with the Slav Defense.
