Brendyn Estolas, known to the online chess world as Brendyn33, has been grinding out games since December 2014, and the career ledger reads like a phone directory. More than 20,000 games in total, over 15,000 of them in bullet chess, another 4,700-plus in blitz, plus rapid and daily chess as side dishes. Along the way the bullet rating peaked at 2513 (2017-08-18) and the blitz rating at 2415 (2017-08-11), both landmark numbers landing in the same golden week of August 2017.

The Opening Laboratory: Amar Gambits and Pterodactyls
Most improving players study mainlines. Brendyn curated a wildlife sanctuary instead. The supporting cast deserves its own museum: the Australian Defense with 655 bullet games at a 54.2% win rate, the London Poisoned Pawn Variation with 698 games of poisoned pawn shenanigans, the Sicilian Defense: O'Kelly Variation with 604 games and a 55.63% score, and the Colle Rhamphorhynchus Variation, an opening named like a pterodactyl and played 465 times at a 56.34% clip. With the black pieces, the O'Kelly is the signature dish: nearly 600 bullet games at a 55.59% win rate. In blitz, the Amazon Attack family scores north of 60%, which is impressive for an opening most people have never been attacked by.
The asatour1 Files: A 1,353-Game Rivalry
Every legend needs a foil, and Brendyn found one in asatour1. The series stands at 1,353 games, with 799 wins, 376 losses, and 178 draws. At that volume it stops being a rivalry and becomes a subscription. Other familiar faces around the table include herbsboy, comfortably outgrown at 114 wins to 65 losses; kingbaldwiniv-123, with 94 wins over royalty; and ChweetBaby, a 229-game series that presumably taught both players everything there is to know about each other.
Balance does exist. Vinesh Ravuri leads the head-to-head 119 to 60, and Conrado Diaz holds a 111 to 86 edge, which must be what happens when the opposition is named after baked goods and artillery, respectively.

The 10:00 hour is statistically the most lethal time to play, a 59.42% win rate, while 13:00 is the graveyard shift at 45.83%. Daily chess peaked at 1740 back in 2015, when the Scandinavian Defense learned the hard way that opponents given a full day to think will absolutely find the refutation.
