๐๐ช๐ท๐ญ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ฎ: Chess Streamer, Blitz Specialist, Comeback Artist
Some players sign their scoresheets in pencil. Candice signs hers in illuminated medieval script, because ๐๐ช๐ท๐ญ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ฎ is not a username, it is a brand. Behind the fancy lettering is Candice2805, a chess streamer whose weapon of choice is blitz and whose idea of a quiet evening is several dozen games played very, very quickly.
Origin Story: 220 and Falling
Her rapid debut arrived in August 2024: one game, one loss, one rating of 220, a number that reads less like chess and more like a room temperature. Her bullet chess career opened the same way, with a loss at 100. From there she did something rare and slightly unhinged: she simply kept going, until the leaderboard stopped laughing.
The Great Climb
By late 2026, her blitz rating had clawed its way to 1692 (2026-09-28), her rapid to 1767 (2026-10-02), and her bullet to 1640 (2026-10-02), a four-figure transformation achieved almost entirely through volume. And the volume is real. In June 2026 alone she played 730 blitz games, roughly 24 per day, then followed it up with 608 more in September. At some point "grinding" stops being a metaphor and becomes a personality.
The Repertoire
As Black, Candice is a devoted member of the French Defense church, with hundreds of games behind the stone walls of 1.e4 e6, including a stubborn loyalty to the French Defense Exchange Variation even though its win rate quietly suggests otherwise. Her favorite opening ceremony, ready to autoplay:
With the White pieces she opens 1.d4, steers into Queen's Gambit Declined territory, and has been known to deploy the Australian Defense from the White side, raising questions no opening theory can answer. Side projects include the Poisoned Pawn lines of the London System, the Amar Gambit, and a daily-chess Diemer-Duhm Gambit experiment that went 0 for 4 and was lovingly retired.
Nemeses and Victims
Three head to heads define the Candice era. Against yumeko-jabami-9 she is 30 wins, 1 loss, and 2 draws, a matchup so lopsided it may qualify as a sponsorship. Against remy_am she is 0 for 29, zero wins in twenty-nine attempts, a record she maintains out of loyalty to the scientific method. And then there is nate8273792, her most frequent opponent: 135 meetings, 83 losses so far, and a series she keeps renewing with the fresh optimism of someone who has definitely not looked at the score.
Style Guide
She calls her style resilient. The spreadsheet calls it something else.
- Graceful surrender: roughly three quarters of her losses end in an early resignation. When the position is gone, the handshake is quick.
- Questionable logic: her comeback rate sits at 85.8%, which strongly implies the early resignations are letting everyone down.
- Tilt-resistant: a tilt factor of 13 is remarkably low for a blitz grinder.
- Queen propaganda: over 7,500 career checks delivered, most of them by the queen. She does not check quietly.
- Endgame citizen: 77.77% of her games reach the endgame, a statistic featuring the luckiest digits in chess.
- Stalemate collector: 100 career draws by stalemate, and not one of them was an accident. Probably.
Catch Her Live
Candice streams, which means all of this happens in public: 11-game winning streaks, the 13-game losing streaks that occasionally ruin the mood, and checkmates both delivered and absorbed (the absorbed column leads, a gap she blames on opponents with no sense of sportsmanship). Her best hour is 3 AM, where her win rate hits a suspicious 100%, so challenge her in the morning at your own risk. Either way, the stream is on, the French Defense is set, and the rematch list with nate is always open.
