SILENT FORCE

SILENT FORCE: The Quiet Storm of the 64 Squares

Some players announce themselves with flashy sacrifices and loud trash talk. SILENT FORCE (known on the board as CBMBPAWER) does neither. The name says it all: force, delivered silently, usually in the form of a slow squeeze that begins with the quietest first move in chess, 1.c4. With over 1,200 games opening with the English Opening, this is a player who prefers to let the position do the shouting.
