Meet Chesscapismus
Chesscapismus is a chess machine with one gear: keep playing. They have been collecting online games since 2017 and have built a life around the clock, specifically the bullet clock. While their blitz record is enormous, the preferred time control appears to be Bullet, and their early bullet climb shows why. They went from 1576 bullet in October 2017 to 2145 bullet in March 2018. If that was a statement, the statement was "I can go faster."
A Repertoire of Beloved Chaos
If you look close, the opening graph is a love letter to the Sicilian Defense. Chesscapismus plays it from almost every angle, and inside that world, the Najdorf Variation stands out as a longtime habit. They have faced it more than 400 times in blitz and keep coming back for more, which takes either courage or a very short memory.
There is also a weird and wonderful specialty in the Amazon Attack: Siberian Attack, where their bullet games show strong results. It is not the most famous line in chess, but for Chesscapismus, it may be the most fun.
Survival Instinct
- Nearly 8,824 games in the sample, with more than 8,000 played in blitz and a solid bullet side career.
- Their longest winning streak is 11 and their longest losing streak is 10. They are comfortable in both extremes.
- Decisive games tend to run about 70 moves, which sounds like a lot until you realize they still do it in bullet.
- Their 74.64 percent endgame frequency means they do not leave the board early. They want to see the finish line.
- Best time of day to catch them in trouble? Apparently none. Their top hour is 6:00 a.m., and their 6 a.m. recorded rate is impressive.
Rivals and Milestones
Chesscapismus has a featured rivalry with jackweile. The two have faced off 55 times, and jackweile holds a narrow-but-real lead with 30 wins against Chesscapmus's 23. That matchup is practically a book of close calls.
The blitz rating plot is basically a long, bumpy but steadily rising line. It includes a modern peak near 2470 (2025-10-19) in late 2025, plus a healthy blitz chart to show off.
