Alexander Heimann: The Man Behind ChosenCheese
Alexander Heimann, known to the online chess world as ChosenCheese, is a National Master whose username suggests someone who was picked... for greatness, or possibly for a cheese board. Either way, the board has been kind to him. Since first appearing online in 2013, Alexander has played well over ten thousand games, climbing from a humble debut rating all the way to a peak of 2800 (2026-03-31) in his beloved Blitz arena.
