Sharofiddin Ochilov (CosmicSilent): Bullet Chess Sharpshooter
Sharofiddin Ochilov plays under the username CosmicSilent, which is roughly half accurate. Silent? Not even slightly: his online chess career spans more than 5,500 games, most of them at bullet speed, and they come with a soundtrack of snapped-up pawns, queen checks, and flagged clocks. The "cosmic" part checks out, though. He climbed from 1747 in September 2025 to a bullet peak of 2611 (2026-02-05) by February 2026, which in bullet terms is basically the speed of light.
The Bullet Grind
Volume is the secret ingredient. In September 2026 alone, CosmicSilent played 654 bullet games, roughly 21 per day, on his way to 1,685 career bullet wins against 1,202 losses. Draws are an afterthought at about 5%, because every game is treated like it owes him money. His longest winning streak sits at 23 straight wins, a run long enough that opponents probably checked the lobby to make sure they were not queuing into the same person again.
Openings: The 1.e4 Lifestyle
More than 96% of his games begin with 1.e4, after which opponent recycling follows a familiar rhythm:
- As White, the Scandinavian Defense (67% win rate in bullet), the French Exchange (65%), and the Closed Anti-Sveshnikov, Kharlov-Kramnik line of the Sicilian (64%) do the heavy lifting.
- As Black, the French Defense is home turf, and the Blackburne Shilling Gambit is the house trap, scoring 72% across 116 blitz games.
- The kryptonite: the Berlin Wall of the Ruy Lopez (42% in blitz) and the Queen's Gambit Declined, Hastings Variation (33% in bullet). If you want to beat him, start humming Wagner.
The Blackburne Shilling Gambit in action: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4 Nd4?! and suddenly White's e5 pawn is a charitable donation to the CosmicSilent retirement fund.
Style: Does Not Resign, Does Not Stay Down
His numbers read like a horror film for opponents who believe they have already won. Comeback rate: 84%. Win rate after dropping a piece: 55%. Early resignation rate: about 1%, because resignation is a formal ceremony that has never appeared on his calendar. Exhibit A is the 13 career stalemates, games that were lost so thoroughly they looped all the way back to a draw.
Endgames arrive in about 75% of his games, and the average win stretches to 68 moves, so nothing gets decided early. When fear needs to be delivered, the queen is the courier of choice: 5,698 queen checks and counting. Planning an ambush? Check the schedule first. He scores 66.8% at 16:00 and a distinctly mortal 43% at 8 AM. Do not challenge the cosmic entity before it has had coffee.
Rivalries and the unluckychess Problem
Every hero has a nemesis, and CosmicSilent's is champ_2008omm, who leads their head-to-head 16 wins to 9 (plus 2 draws) across 27 meetings and presumably savors each one. Almost everyone else has it worse. ludoe4 has dropped 47 of 57 games, tapaswis33 sits at 1-17, and the unluckychess clan lives down to its branding: unluckychessplayers is 2-48 against him and unluckychessmanager is 0-20. Someone should verify whether that is legal.
Cosmic Footnotes
- Best day of the week: Saturday (59.3% win rate). Worst: Friday (54.9%), presumably tired from a week of flagging people.
- Tilt factor: 12. Glacial composure, iceberg energy.
- His win rate swings 31.65 points between rated and casual play, the classic grinder who treats rated games like finals and casuals like a picnic.
- Daily chess career: 2 games, a 1-1 record. He prefers contests measured in seconds, not calendar days.
- Check math favors him: 2.84 checks delivered per game against 2.11 received, and when he checks first, he wins 65% of the time.
Verdict: a relentless, cheerful, extremely hard-to-close-out bullet specialist. Flag him if you can. Statistically, you cannot.
