Samuel Toro Ramirez: The Candidate Master Returns
If the username Elessar16 rings a Tolkien bell, that is because Elessar is the royal name of Aragorn, the king who returns to claim his throne. It is a fitting alias for Samuel Toro Ramirez, a FIDE Candidate Master who spent 2026 staging a blitz rating surge worthy of a coronation, climbing from the 1800s to the rarefied air above 2400 in a matter of months.
