Hi Vladislav, here’s a focused performance review based on your latest blitz run.

What’s already working well

  • Dynamic counter-punching as Black. In your last win against Jesus Yovani Gonzalez you used the …f5 Dutch set-up to seize queenside space and collect material cleanly.
  • Powerful king-side initiative. The thematic h- and g-pawn storms (e.g. vs Mohammed Seder) often decide games before move 25.
  • Tactical alertness in muddy positions. Sequences such as 30…gxf5! in the endgamemaster51 win show you convert complications into tangible edges.

Key areas to sharpen next

  1. Clock discipline.
Two of the last five losses (vs ChessEminem11 and Omer Akkara) were time-outs in playable positions. Treat 15 seconds as “panic mode”: simplify or repeat moves, pre-move obvious recaptures, and enable auto-queen.
  2. London-Jobava tuning with White.
After 1.d4 Nf6 2.Bf4 3.Nc3 opponents hit you with …c5/…e5 (see loss to MFatigue). Consider:
    • Insert h3 & e3 earlier to secure the c2–e4 chain.
    • If Black plays …c5, reply with c3 instead of e3 to keep the centre intact.
  3. Flank-pawn over-extension.
In the timeout loss to ChessEminem11 the h4-h5 push opened files against your own king. Before launching, ask “What if the centre opens in two moves?”—if unclear, postpone the pawn storm.
  4. Endgame technique vs passed pawns.
MFatigue converted a single passed c-pawn despite material balance. Drill rook-and-pawn endings where the defender’s king is cut off (15-minute daily exercise is enough).
  5. Black repertoire balance.
The immediate Dutch …f5 is fun but sharp; add the more flexible Pirc/King’s Indian move order (…d6 …Nf6 …g6) when opponents aim for early e4 blasts.

One-week micro-study plan

DayActivity
1-230 min: “Simple Endings” (Nunn) chapter 1-2
15 min: Review three of your own flagged games focusing on the final 60 s.
3-420 min: Annotate London lines vs …c5, engine off
20 min: 30 high-rated tactical puzzles (rating ≥ 2500).
5Play a 10|2 session with the single goal of finishing every game with >10 s on the clock.
