FarrelDixonN (FrDixx): Daily Chess Grinder and Scandinavian Loyalist
About FrDixx
FarrelDixonN, better known at the board as FrDixx, is an online chess player who has turned Daily chess into a personal vendetta and the Scandinavian Defense into a personality. The headline numbers border on the absurd: a 55-4-2 record in Daily play, a 34-game winning streak, and an 88% comeback rate that suggests lost positions are merely gentle suggestions.
The Daily Chess Redemption Arc
In July 2024, FrDixx played exactly two Daily games, lost both, bottomed out at a rating of 253, and vanished. Most players would let that go. FrDixx came back in May 2026, started at 663, immediately won nine straight, then spent the summer torching the pool: 42 wins in 46 June games, a sprint past 1500 in July, and a peak of 2217 (2026-10-02) by October 2026. The full Daily ledger now reads 55 wins, 4 losses, and 2 draws, which is less a rating curve than a revenge arc.
One Opening to Rule Them All: The Scandinavian Defense
FrDixx opens with 1.e4 essentially always. In 2026 alone, e4 appeared as the first move 2,228 times out of 2,241 games. The d4 count was seven. If FrDixx plays d4 against you, take a screenshot, you have witnessed a rare astronomical event.
From there it is the Scandinavian Defense all the way down: over 1,500 blitz games, more than 1,200 of them as Black, and an 88.9% win rate in Daily play. The Three Knights Opening is the perfect 6-for-6 side quest, the cheeky Blackburne Shilling Gambit converts at 69% in Rapid, and opponents bold enough to try the Barnes Defense lose to it more often than not.
The farreldixon Problem: FrDixx's Greatest Nemesis
Every hero needs a villain, and FrDixx has the strangest one on record: farreldixon. The two have met 35 times. FrDixx has won zero of them. Thirty-five games, thirty-five losses, against an opponent with a suspiciously familiar name. Either this is a second account and the mirror matches are going horribly wrong, or farreldixon is simply kryptonite that learned to log in.
mannypooh is the secondary boss with 19 meetings and only 6 FrDixx wins. Beyond those two, the script flips completely: bulletchessplayeri is 0 for 9, veysi49 scraped together 1 win in 9 tries, and dinislam_mailybayy went 1-7. FrDixx beats nearly everyone except the accounts that apparently know the passwords.
Playing Style: The Comeback Machine
FrDixx does not do quick goodbyes. The early resignation rate sits at 2.85%, which is to say essentially never, and wins average a marathon 72 moves with endgames showing up in nearly 72% of games. Another 1,508 victories arrived by timeout, which is a polite way of saying the clock is a weapon too.
The queen handles most of the threatening: over 10,500 queen checks and counting. And scheduling matters. The 20:00 hour features a flawless win rate, while 18:00 has produced exactly zero wins, ever. Do not arrange an evening match over dinner. FrDixx is a pumpkin at 6pm.
