Bohdan, known online as GBG10, is a FIDE Master with a simple creed: why play slow when you can play Blitz? Since his first recorded online games in late 2017, he has turned the five minute clock into his personal playground. With more than 11,000 Blitz games and a peak Blitz rating above 2600, he has become one of the most persistent grinders on the platform.
Humble Beginnings, Vertical Trajectory
Every legend starts somewhere. In December 2017, Bohdan's first Blitz rating was 977, a number most titled players only see in nightmares. By the end of that same month he had already touched 1794. Within two years he crossed 2000, earned the FIDE Master title, and kept climbing. His rating graph looks less like a ladder and more like a ski jump.
His peak Blitz rating of 2695 (2026-06-07) landed in June 2026, which means the trajectory is still pointing up.
A Repertoire of Beautiful Chaos
Bohdan does not believe in boring chess. As White, he loves the London System, but not the quiet London. He gravitates toward the Poisoned Pawn lines and the sharp Amazon Attack, including its Siberian branch. As Black, he happily steps into the Sicilian Defense in almost every form, from the Rossolimo to the Closed. He also has a soft spot for the Döry Defense and is not afraid to uncork gambits like the Diemer-Duhm or the Amar Gambit.
The Grind and the Comebacks
Bohdan is a marathon runner disguised as a Blitz sprinter. His record in Blitz shows more than 5,000 wins, a 15 game winning streak, and a 12 game losing streak that he survived like a champ. His comeback rate is nearly 90 percent, and he still wins 44 percent of the time after dropping a piece. Count him out at your own risk.
