He is best known as a bullet and blitz specialist, but his preferred time control is Rapid, and that is exactly where he becomes nearly unbeatable. His Rapid record stands at 87 wins, 10 losses, and 7 draws, a winning percentage north of 83. In bullet, meanwhile, he has climbed to a staggering 2931 (2026-09-21), the kind of number that makes grandmasters blink twice.

The Comeback Story: From 1.e3 to 2800

Every legend has a humble, slightly embarrassing origin. Genrikh's begins in 2017 with 1.e3, the Van 't Kruijs Opening, the king's pawn's introverted cousin.
