Three years and more than 6,000 games later, the hobby has become something closer to a full-time residency program. Rapid chess is the true home: long games, longer endgames, and a total refusal to let a position die quietly. What followed was a stubborn ascent featuring months of 200-game marathons, several Plateaus of Despair, and a peak of 1535 (2026-07-28) reached in July 2026. But every hero needs obstacles: meepo322 leads the head-to-head 9-6, and inwayne remains an unsolved riddle at 2-7, presumably still laughing from the shadows.
Style, Curiosities, and the Clock
Statistically speaking, this is an endgame person. Roughly 70% of games reach an endgame, wins average over 60 moves, losses average even more, and the early resignation rate sits near 1%. Translation: Hysonberg69 would rather defend a dead-lost position with two pawns and a prayer than tip the king over. And when disasters strike, they often reverse themselves, thanks to a comeback rate of 79%.
