The Blitz Professor

JustinJosh is a FIDE Master with a passion that is impossible to miss: blitz. While some players chase slow, elegant endgames, Justin has spent years proving that the fast clock is the most honest canvas in chess. He is the kind of player who hears "one minute increment" and begins smiling.

Over the last six years, Justin turned his blitz game into a laboratory. He started around 1500 territory and kept climbing until he touched an astonishing peak rating of 2903. The path is not a straight line, but that is what makes it so enjoyable.

At his peak, 2903 (2026-08-21) lands at 2903, which is enough to make any opponent reconsider their life choices.

The Opening Buffet

Justin's board is rarely quiet. His statistics read like a love letter to the open and semi-open games. He is especially at home in the Sicilian Defense and Caro-Kann Defense; the one with which either side can enter a knife fight before the third move.

Strangely, the French Defense Exchange Variation appears all over his blitz games. Justin has a peculiar habit of taking his opponents into well-trodden systems, then politely reminding them that he has already reprogrammed the middle game.

Rivals and Revenge

No biography is complete without friendly enemies. Nebojsa Djordjevic has met Justin 23 times and the head to head is so tight that even the chess board is nervous. A closer look also shows mastro never true? but for the record, Justin has won 12 of those 23 games, which is probably why dimailuka still messages him.

One particularly fun marathon can be relived here: Spotless Blitz marathon.

Mad Scientist Streaks and Comebacks

Justin is not just a pedestal piece. His longest winning streak is 9 games, his longest losing streak is a painful 11, and yet his comeback rate is 90.66%. If he loses a piece, he still manages to win 41.5% of the time. He will occasionally drop a peak, or blunder, but this is simply to give the audience a chance to enjoy the show.

His record when playing someone rated higher is 26.8% wins, which is actually not bad against people who might be human calculators. When playing someone rated below him, Justin roars with 73.8% wins. He is a heavy favorite for a reason.

The Most Blitzing Player You Will Meet

FIDE Master JustinJosh may not have the most calm, steady and stable introduction, but he has earned the title, and now he demonstrates it by playing more than 8,000 blitz games. He is the player who goes for the Caro-Kann, touches the Sicilian, and tells his clock to wait. A dedicated blitz career with a peak of 2903 and a deep bond to fighting every game to the move 80.
