From Quiet Beginnings to a Blitz Force
Alexey Evdokimov, better known online as leschebaza, is a FIDE Master with a serious soft spot for Blitz. When he first slipped onto the online chess courts in 2019, his rating hovered near 2090; by May 2026 he had climbed all the way to a breathtaking blitz peak of 2740. Along the way he has piled up nearly 1,800 blitz wins, proving that he can keep up when the clock is loud and the ideas have to be faster.
His comeback-tendency alone is worth a warning label: he has a 86.37 percent comeback rate in messy tactical battles and still wins 48.25 percent of the time after losing a piece. That is the profile of someone who refuses to sulk, resign, or fade away just because the position is ugly.
An Opening Repertoire Full of Character
