Lewis Eisen, National Master and Blitz Specialist
Lewis Eisen, known online as lewiseisen, is a National Master whose chess career has been defined by remarkable endurance, tactical energy, and a clear love of fast-paced blitz chess. With more than 68,000 recorded games across time controls, Eisen has made the chess clock work overtime.
Playing Style
Eisen is most comfortable in dynamic positions where initiative matters. As White, the player has scored especially well with the Sicilian Defense and Czech Defense, while the Scandinavian Defense has been a frequent choice overall. The statistics suggest a practical fighter who is willing to keep asking difficult questions long after the opening has ended.
Queen checks are Eisen’s most common checking weapon, and the player delivers the first check in more than half of analyzed games. A comeback rate above 88 percent adds another twist to the story: being down material is apparently less a crisis and more an invitation to become inconvenient.
Career Highlights
- Earned the National Master title.
- Built a long-running blitz record featuring over 34,000 wins.
- Reached a peak blitz rating of 2650 in 2026.
- Recorded a longest winning streak of 18 games.

From an early blitz rating near 1800 in 2013 to elite online performance more than a decade later, Eisen’s progression reflects persistence, volume, and a willingness to play enough chess for every possible plot twist to appear.
