Hi MUHAMMAD YUSUF!

I reviewed your latest games and noticed clear strengths as well as a few habits that are holding you back. Here is a concise plan to help you climb fast.

What you already do well

  1. Fighting spirit. You rarely shy away from pawn breaks (g4, h4, e4) and are willing to sacrifice to attack.
  2. Tactical awareness. In the win vs. prinzmj6 you spotted the fork 21.Nc7+ and the skewer 22.Nxa8, proving you can punish loose pieces.
  3. Trading when ahead. Once up material you often simplify—an excellent instinct.

Biggest opportunities

  1. Time management
Most recent losses ended “on time.” In a 3-minute game you get ~6 s per move.
Fix: play familiar openings quickly, make any safe move rather than burn down below 10 s, and practise premoves in winning positions.
  2. Opening discipline
Early pawn pushes (3.h4, 4.g4…) before development leave your king exposed (see loss vs. amita93).
    4-move checklist:
    a) Occupy the centre with one pawn.
    b) Develop two knights and two bishops.
    c) Castle.
    d) Only then start pawn storms.
    Mini-repertoire:
    • White – Italian: 1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4
    • Black vs 1.e4 – Scandinavian (you already use it).
    • Black vs 1.d4 – QGD set-up: …d5 …e6 …Nf6 …Be7 …O-O
  3. King safety
Your king is often uncastled after 15 moves, inviting tactics:

Rule: Castle by move 10 unless you win material immediately.
  4. Endgame technique
Slow conversions cost clock time. Drill: K+Q vs K, K+R vs K, Lucena Position, Philidor Position.

14-day improvement plan

DaysFocus
1-315 tactical puzzles/day (forks, pins, mates).
4-6Memorise the mini-repertoire; play 10 blitz games using the 4-move checklist.
7-10Drill basic mates vs computer until you can finish in <20 s.
11-14Alternate one 10-min rapid game (slow thinking) with three 3-min blitz games (apply time-saving habits).

Keep your motivation high

After every session write one positive takeaway. Small, consistent improvements compound quickly at your rating level. Break 300 blitz first, then keep going!

Good luck, have fun, and reach out whenever you need more guidance.
