2. Your strengths

  • Fighting spirit. You never give up and often turn wild positions into wins – see 27…Re5+!! versus sarassure.
  • Tactical awareness. Forks, skewers and double-checks (21.Ng5! against nal1152008) show that you spot tactics when pieces are flying.
  • Opening curiosity. You have tried Philidor, English, Italian and fianchetto setups, which broadens your chess vision.

3. Recurring issues

  1. Early queen adventures. 2.Qf3 and …Qg5 cost time and expose f-squares. Keep the queen home until your minor pieces are developed.
  2. Late castling. In 8 of your last 10 losses your king was still in the centre when tactics hit. Aim to castle by move 10.
  3. Loose flank pawns. Early g- or b-pawn pushes weaken your king (example below). Develop a piece instead of moving a wing-pawn unless there is a concrete reason.

Compare the positions

Left: an early queen sortie punished. Right: sound development that led to victory.

4. Middle-game checklist

  • Before every capture ask: “How many attackers vs. defenders?” – would have avoided 12…Qxf2+ vs cedricdeff.
  • Finish development first; a rook stuck on a1 while you attack often backfires.
  • When a file opens, occupy it with a rook (b-file domination won you the sarassure game).

5. Winning technique

  • When ahead, trade pieces (not pawns) to reduce counter-play.
  • Activate your king in the endgame – extra pawns alone do not win if the king stays passive.

6. 14-day improvement plan

  1. Solve 20 “mate-in-one or two” puzzles daily (≈10 min) to sharpen blunder checks.
  2. Play two 10-minute games per session; afterwards spend 5 min with the analysis board to spot missed threats.
  3. Stick to one simple opening each side for 30 games: • White: Italian (1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nc6 3.Bc4). • Black: Scandinavian (1.e4 d5). Goal: quick development & early castling.
  4. Watch one GM miniature each day; focus on how fast they develop and castle.

7. Keep going!

You already show you can beat anyone at your level. Polish the basics above and 600+ is within reach. Good luck and have fun at the board!
