Who Is PapaiThiago?
Thiago Rocha, better known to online rivals as PapaiThiago, is a high-volume blitz specialist with one of the busiest accounts on the board. The username means "Daddy Thiago" in Portuguese, and on the 3-minute battlefield he certainly plays like the dad who has seen everything. Since October 2016, he has piled up more than 35,000 rated blitz games, climbing from the 1450s to a peak blitz rating of 2277 in November 2020. He has since added a rapid peak of 2334, proving that Papa still has new tricks to teach.
