Meet SirStrateg
Filip Dowgird, known online as SirStrateg, is not just another FIDE Master in the server lobby. He is a bullet-time thinker, a blitz marauder, and a player who has spent thousands of nights exploring the edges of the Amazon Attack: Siberian Attack. With a peak Blitz rating of 2948 and a Bullet peak of 2835, he treats the clock less as a limit and more as a suggestion.
His preferred battleground is bullet, where his hands move faster than most people's brains, but his blitz record shows he can also settle in for a long, patient fight. Either way, he has played more than 30,000 rated games and somehow still wants more.
From 2015 club player to online monster
SirStrateg started his journey back in 2015 as a solid 2000-level blitz player. By 2017 he had crossed into the 2400s, and by the early 2020s he was flirting with 2700 before eventually reaching the upper 2800s and even touching 2948 in the blitz pool. The climb is best understood visually.
His bullet graph is shorter but just as dramatic. It took him from the low 2000s in 2020 to a 2835 bullet peak in 2025, including an outrageous jump from 2601 to 2804 in a single month. Track that sprint too.
Style, openings, and stubborn endgames
SirStrateg is an opening explorer. As White, he is deeply loyal to the Amazon Attack: Siberian Attack, and as Black he is a regular in the Czech Defense. He also loves the Nimzo-Larsen Attack, a weapon that fits his chaotic but principled online style.
Do not come to him looking for quick draws. His average winning game lasts more than 84 moves, and he reaches an endgame in about 86% of his games. He would rather grind out a rook and pawn ending at 4am than accept a peaceful handshake in the middlegame.
Rivals and marathons
No player has been a better dance partner than joeybogo. The two have faced each other 211 times, with SirStrateg taking 130 wins and 18 draws. His series against Rogelio Jr Antonio is less friendly: 56 losses in 92 meetings. Yes, even FIDE Masters have nemeses.
The archives also reveal a ten-game losing streak and a very real tilt factor of 10. But he balances that with an 18-game winning streak and an 82.23% comeback rate. That is the perfect recipe for online bullet chaos.
The 4am specialist
The data says something beautiful: SirStrateg plays his absolute best at 4 in the morning, winning 71.43% of games. At 5am, that number collapses to 26.92%. So if you see him at 04:00, either bring strong coffee or run away. At 05:00, he is human again.
He has checkmated opponents, been checkmated, and even stalemated his way to a handful of draws. His title may say FIDE Master, but his true rank is late-night bullet folk hero.
