A Bishop With a Scope
Most players name themselves after grandmasters, metal bands, or a pet. Sniper_Bishop2034 chose the only piece that genuinely hunts: the bishop, a marksman that strikes along the longest diagonals on the board without ever needing to look back. The 2034 is presumably a deadline, and judging by the trajectory, it will be reached early.
Blitz is the weapon of choice, and the results back it up: a peak Blitz rating of 2300 (2026-08-19), a 23 game winning streak, and nearly 190 career Blitz wins. They do not wander into attacks. They wait, and then your queen quietly vanishes from across the board.
The 2026 Breakout
The career graph reads like a flatline followed by a cliff. From late 2024 through 2025 the sniper cruised around 1200 in Blitz while grinding hundreds of Rapid games on the side. Then came 2026: 59 wins in 75 Blitz games in May, 114 more wins across 161 games in August, and a climb from the 1100s past 2300 in a single summer. August also featured 557 Bullet games, which stopped being a hobby somewhere around game 300.
The streak data confirms the personality: a longest winning streak of 23 games against a longest losing streak of 10. The peaks are Himalayan, and even the valleys are short.
Repertoire: Czech Walls and One Undefeated Dinosaur
With Black, the foundation is the Czech Defense, a solid, prickly setup that has shouldered more than 150 Rapid games and wins over half of them, with even sharper numbers in Blitz and Bullet. With White, the sniper reaches for the Bird Opening and its Batavo Gambit, an offbeat weapon that produced a 65% win rate across 70 Rapid games.
Then there is the Pterodactyl Variation of the Modern Defense: 12 Blitz games, 12 wins. A perfect score with an opening named after a flying reptile is exactly the sort of thing that should be studied by a committee.
Opponents occasionally try to spring the Blackburne Shilling Gambit as a trap. It is adorable. In 13 Blitz meetings the gambit has misfired at an 84.6% rate. For reference, here is the trap in question:

- Best hour: 21:00, a perfect win rate. The sample size is classified, but the legend writes itself.
- Avoid the 18:00 window: a 42% win rate suggests dinner comes before tactics.
- Friday is the best day at 60.6%, Sunday the worst at 50%. Weekends are for cleaning the scope.
