Your Current Profile
• Bullet strength: ≈2800 (peak: 2865 (2025-06-01)) – world-class speed!
• Opening fingerprint: almost every game begins with 1 g3 / …g6, aiming for King’s Fianchetto set-ups.
• Typical result distribution (last 50 games): many wins by checkmate, many losses on time – rarely by being out-played.
• Playing hours
What You Already Do Well
- Fast tactical awareness. The mating attack in your latest win shows excellent pattern recognition:
- Consistent strategic plan. The flexible Fianchetto systems let you sidestep deep theory – a sensible choice for bullet.
- Nerve in complications. You are comfortable sacrificing pawns/quality for initiative (e.g. 27.Nxd5! vs. Gangster-accountant01).
Key Areas to Improve
- Time management. Eight of your last ten losses were flagged with winning or equal positions on the board.
• Practise “move-burst” technique: play three safe moves almost instantly after each increment.
• Automate opening first 8-10 moves (prepare a bullet repertoire file and drill it).
• Train with 30-second games set to auto-queen and forced pre-moves to build muscle memory.
• Review the concept of time management. - Endgame conversion. Rook-and-pawn positions slip away when seconds are low (see diagram after 60…Kb6, last loss).
• Daily 5-minute session on “rook & pawn vs. rook” technique.
• Use Chess.com’s Endgame Drills with the filter “Under 15 seconds”. - Opening diversity. The universal Fianchetto is practical but predictable.
• Add one sharp anti-…g6 line as White (e.g. 1.e4 g6 2.d4 Bg7 3.Nc3) and one surprise weapon as Black (consider the Blitz Benoni).
• This forces opponents to think instead of pre-moving.
• Study critical motifs such as the zwischenzug 10.Nc4! (appeared in both win & loss vs. ‘Gangster-accountant01’).
Suggested Weekly Training Plan (≈3 hrs)
| Session | Duration | Focus |
|---|---|---|
| Puzzle Rush Survival | 30 min ×3 | Tactics under time pressure |
| Opening drill | 20 min ×3 | Bullet repertoire flashcards |
| Endgame speed drill | 15 min ×2 | Rook vs. pawn & technical wins |
| Review own bullet games | 30 min | Flagged losses: identify last think moment |
Quick Reminders for Bullet
- When material up, trade queens early – the clock is your worst enemy.
- If the position is equal and you are behind on time, switch to flight-square mode: create pawn moves for your king and pre-move them.
- Use piece drops near the king; even a bad check often gains precious seconds.
Next Step
Challenge frequent opponents to rematches with increment (e.g. 1 | 1) to test whether the same positions still feel comfortable when the time factor is neutralised. For example: Barad Yeganegi. Analyse those games to isolate pure chess issues from clock issues.
Keep enjoying the thrill of bullet, Stanislav – but remember: every second saved is a potential brilliancy revealed!
