Stanislav Bukreev, better known online as StasSB, is a FIDE International Master with a serious love for blitz chess. His preferred time control is blitz, and he treats it like a contact sport. Since 2017, he has gone from a 1400ish club scrapper to a 3000+ blitz force of nature. His peak blitz rating of 3113 (2026-05-28) and peak bullet rating of 2785 (2026-05-12) show just how far he has come.
The Meteoric Rise
Bukreev's online career began quietly. In 2017, his blitz rating hovered around 1400, and he looked like a perfectly normal hobbyist. Then the grind started paying off.
