Meet Toulpi

Toulpi is a passionate chess enthusiast whose journey began in earnest around 2021. Since then, they have steadily honed their skills through various time controls—Rapid, Blitz, Bullet, and Daily—building a versatile and well-rounded playing style. Notably, they’ve reached a peak Rapid rating of 1425 (in 2025), reflecting their continued progress and commitment to the sport. Their performance in Blitz has also been strong, peaking at 1006, while they’ve experimented successfully with Bullet and Daily formats, hitting highs of 817 and 1266, respectively.

Part of Toulpi’s success can be attributed to a healthy focus on endgames—over half of their games progress into deeper stages—and an impressive 73.52% comeback rate shows their resilience even in tough positions. They handle both White and Black confidently, winning over 51% of the time as White and close to 47% as Black. Their favored openings span the Scandinavian Defense and various Four Knights configurations, among others, and they’ve grown adept at navigating complex middlegame transitions.

Psychologically, Toulpi maintains a balanced approach: they don’t often resign prematurely (their early resignation rate is relatively low), and they exhibit the determination to fight back when behind.
