Hi treiss88 — your personalized game review

🎯 What you already do well

  • Stable opening repertoire. Your 1.d4 systems (Queen’s Gambit, Torre/London setups) regularly give you sound structures and early space.
  • Central pawn breaks. In your recent win vs elanista you unleashed 12.d6!  13.dxe7! which tore open Black’s position and decided the game in 15 moves.
  • Tactical eye when attacking. Patterns such as 27.Qe5+ in the Semi-Slav win and 42.Rxg5# against HMajiid show that you recognize forks, pins and mating nets quickly once the initiative is yours.

🔧 Growth areas

  1. King safety under fire.
In several losses (Englund, Torre, QGA) your king stayed in the centre or walked into open files. When the centre is fluid, castle first and keep the g- & h-pawns anchored unless absolutely necessary.
  2. Consolidating after you win material.
Against primepork and musashi333 you were up but let counter-attacks develop. When ahead, trade queens, centralise rooks and eliminate the opponent’s best piece instead of pursuing a speculative attack.
  3. Time management.
Five of your last ten results were determined by the clock. Adopt a simple rule: never let yourself drop below 30 seconds before move 25; if you’re stuck, play the safest improving move within 10 seconds.
