Glen De Schampheleire, better known online as Twiceblessed, is FIDE's International Master who apparently never received the memo that blitz is supposed to be the fun, reckless format. He has treated it as a profession. With thousands of games on the Blitz clock, he has pushed his Blitz rating to a personal peak of 2721 (2022-04-26) while remaining a, let's say, dramatic friend of the endgame.

Pick an opening and Glen has probably explored it, usually at bullet speed. He is famously fond of the Amazon Attack: Siberian Attack, which sounds like a computer game but is actually a real line that he has played over 240 times in Blitz. He will also happily walk into the Ruy Lopez: Berlin Defense or the Petrov's Defense, especially when the opponent expects something quiet.
His opening palette also includes the Caro-Kann Defense, the Australian Defense, and the Blackburne Shilling Gambit, which means his opponents often get a creative, or at least memorable, ride from move one.

His most frequent opponent is Warre De Waele, a partnership that has ended 79 times and includes an impressive winning record for Twiceblessed. The sterner exam is probably Koen Leenhouts, who has managed to turn the tables on the International Master more often than not.
