The Blitz Addict
Vinyana is a warrior of the thirty-second thought, the near fifty thousand game blitz collection says it well. Since 2015, this e4 diehard has blasted out more games than most bullet-influencers have total friend games, and their first move is all but carved in stone.
The blitz time control is the heartbeat of this chess life. Vinyana's bullet record consists of exactly three games and zero wins, which they have kindly stored in a file marked "training data". Proof of the grind lives below, rising from the kicked-up 1300s to the two-thousand bottle.
Openings: All Roads Lead to 1. e4
If chess were a rock club, Vinyana's membership ID would be stamped with 1. e4. The Sicilian Defense has shown top floor of the club: over 4,800 rated blitz encounters from both sides. The Caro-Kann Defense is a sound backup, and when they play Black, the sharp Sicilian Defense is not just keeping it quiet for the Dragon Yogoslav Attack.
The opening list could be a premium fighting guide, with nearly 3,200 games in the rainy territories of the Alapin Variation at the top. Vinyana has also accepted a weirdly large number of Gruenfeld Defense games and insists on playing them as if they are an e4 player.
Welcome to the board:
A Rivalry for the Age
Every great blitz story needs one nemesis who is basically a second job. For Vinyana, that nemesis is Eduardo Ortiz. The pair have played 130 consequential blitz fights, and Vinyana leads survive at the adults table: 64 wins, 60 losses, and a real six satisfactory draws.
There are also productive misfits such as

? It works.
Endings, Comebacks, and Caffeine Time
The board does not scare Vinyana. The average blitz game runs almost 75 moves per finish, and they will calmly trade queens if it means entering the fifth mitoposition where they feel themselves. When things go wrong, V2 hasn't been timely: they converted about 42% of the time after losing a piece and have a comeback of 85.22 of %—whatever the reason— it was never "read" enough.
Vicks also keeps a ritual: golden hour exists by their network because best time to disassociate. Peak morning? No, 16:00. Anybody looking for a 16:00 beating knows the table terms and might take a tie.
