Overview

Your recent games show that you are a strong, well rounded player. You did particularly well in endgames, and as Black you handled sharp positions confidently. The main thing to work on is protecting your pieces when the game becomes tactical, especially when your opponent is looking for counterplay.

What's Working Well

  • Endgame technique: In your game against allex2200 you created an outside passed pawn, brought your king up, and converted a rook ending without giving counterplay. That was clean and patient play.
  • Converting advantages: Against Dr-omar10 you took a small material edge, simplified to a queen and pawn endgame, and finished with a nice mating net using the promoted pawn. You did not rush or throw the win away.
  • Handling unusual openings as Black: In the King's Indian Defense game against sanchon_tricks07, White tried a sharp b4 idea, but you placed your pieces well, struck in the center with the d5 advance, and then smoothly outplayed your opponent on the queenside and later in the attack. You showed a good feel for the resulting pawn structures.

What Needs Work

  • Loose pieces and tactics: In your loss to strat15, the position got out of hand very quickly. When you moved your queen to a defensive square, your opponent struck with a rook sacrifice on c3, and your pieces became overloaded. Your bishop on g5 and the rook on e4 were both without enough support. Before each move, ask who is attacking whom and which pieces on your side are not defended. This is a classic Loose Pieces pattern.
  • Opening choice as White: In your loss to I_Will_be_FM, the quiet b3 move in the Sicilian Defense gave Black a very easy game. Black equalized quickly, and you never created real pressure. In blitz, prefer moves that set practical problems, such as d4 or Bb5. If you want to keep b3, study typical plans so you can find ways to create imbalances.
  • Fighting in worse positions: After the tactical blow in the strat15 game, the game ended very quickly. Even when you are clearly worse, it is worth trying to create maximum practical resistance. Look for a fortress, stalemate tricks, or simply force your opponent to prove the win. Every half point you rescue matters.

Practical Suggestions

Tactical training should be your main focus. Do puzzles that feature loose pieces, deflection, and overloaded pieces. Also review your Sicilian games as White, especially the ones where you play quiet moves early. Pay attention to your opponent's counterchances, not only your own plan.

Your endgame play is already a real strength. Keep converting wins the way you did against allex2200. A little more care in the early middlegame will save you points very quickly.
