xueshanbaolong is a chess storm waiting to happen. The name suggests a snow mountain dragon, and the rating chart does not disappoint: this is a player whose Blitz numbers can swing by hundreds of points in a single month. The data shows a journey from a modest 1716 to a blazing peak of 3040, with more twists than a dragon’s tail. While he may appear to favor bullet, his real home is the Blitz arena, where he has accumulated over 1,600 recorded games.
He is a fighter first, a perfectionist never. xueshanbaolong has won 806 Blitz games, lost 756, and drawn just 129. The high draw rate is absent, and his reign is ruled by emotional, intensely practical chess. When the pieces fly, he is always willing to take a risk, and sometimes that risk pays off in 13-game winning streaks. Other times, it costs 10 straight losses. That is the price of a dragon’s temper.
Opening Repertoire
The opening choices are as varied as the rating swings. As White, xueshanbaolong frequently opens with the English Opening and loves the sharp English Gambit territory. He also regularly plays the Aman Gambit and the Amazon Attack, which suggest an appetite for offbeat, combative lines. As Black, he leans on the Caro-Kann Defense and the Sicilian Defense: Najdorf Variation, carrying his fighting spirit into both classical and sharp structures.
