Your current snapshot
- Peak blitz rating: 2545 (2025-03-04)
- When you score best:
What you’re already doing well
- Dynamic Pirc / Modern play. With Black you handle …d6/…g6 structures confidently, often seizing the initiative straight from the opening.
- Tactical alertness. Your recent miniature against Yash Laddha was decided by the neat fork 15…Nf3+.
- Practical fighting spirit. Several wins arrived in inferior or unclear positions because you kept the clock pressure high and posed problems.
- Pawn-storm instincts. Early g- and h-pawn pushes often unsettle opponents and create mating nets (see wins vs Kevin Joel Cori Quispe and Felix-Rose).
Growth opportunities
- Time management. Losses to Nicolai Maxime Østensen and Sergey Sklokin show you dipping under 20 s by move 30. Make a “clock check” every 10 moves; if your time share is below 40 %, play simpler moves until you catch up.
- Endgame conversion. A two-pawn edge slipped away versus Cumali Unver. Commit to 10 min/day of basic rook- and pawn-endgame drills (Lucena, Philidor, Vancura).
- Passed-pawn prophylaxis. Several defeats featured unstoppable side pawns. When the opponent creates a majority, think “blockade square first, capture later.”
- Sound white repertoire. The early 2.b4 experiment vs Turboplombir was punished fast. Add one solid main line (Catalan, Torre, or London) so you can alternate surprise weapons with theory when needed.
- Handling fixed pawn structures. In the loss to jayden3185 you accepted c-pawn weaknesses without counter-play. Study model games where the side with structural defects compensates through activity.
Two-week action plan
| Day(s) | Theme | Concrete task |
|---|---|---|
| Mon-Wed | Endgames | 30 rook-pawn drills; annotate one of your own rook endings. |
| Thu-Fri | Openings (White) | Build a 10-move repertoire file vs …c5 & …e5; test in 5 blitz games. |
| Sat | Prophylaxis | Replay 3 GM games featuring a-/h-file passed pawns; note blockade ideas. |
| Sun | Clock control | Review the week’s games; flag every move made in <5 s and decide how earlier planning could save time. |
Mindset reminder
Blitz is a laboratory. After every game record one lesson—tactical, strategic, or time-management. Ten notes become your own mini-course.
Stay creative and disciplined, Bahadur, and the next rating milestone will come sooner than you think!
