LuessiT Player Profile: The 4 A.M. Assassin

LuessiT is the kind of online chess player who opens with 1.d4, never admits a lost position, and apparently plays best while the rest of the world is asleep. Armed with a blitz peak of 2573 (2024-11-11), an undefeated rapid record, and a daily chess scorecard so clean it should probably be laminated, LuessiT has spent years slowly squeezing the hope out of one opponent at a time. Preferred time control: daily, which means there is always time for one more .

Daily Chess Dominance

The daily numbers border on criminal: 196 wins, 9 losses, and 4 draws, with a peak of 1807 (2025-12-12). In June 2025, LuessiT played 58 daily games and won all 58. Not "most of them." All of them. Add the longest winning streak on record, 50 straight games, and you get roughly two uninterrupted months of opponents waking up to positions that were already dead.

The daily opening stats read like a dare. The : 46 for 46. The Australian Defense: 19 for 19. The with the black pieces: 19 for 19, with the Advance, Exchange, and Burn Variations combining for a perfect 41-0 daily record. Nine career daily losses exist somewhere, but they are very well hidden.

Opening Repertoire: The 1.d4 Files

LuessiT is a 1.d4 player the way some people are 1.d4 players, and then some: in 2025, 1,579 blitz games began with 1.d4 and exactly 3 did not. The flagship is a line the database logs as the "London [redacted] Poisoned Pawn Variation," 831 games at a 59% score, and honestly the censorship only makes it sound more dangerous. When the gloves come off, the Amazon Attack arrives, a London System cousin that skips the pleasantries and slams a pawn to e4 on move three:

The Siberian Attack follow-up adds another 529 games of nightmare prep. As Black, life revolves around the French Defense, particularly the Classical Svenonius Variation, a 502-game grind scored at a heroic 46.6%. The East Indian Defense (61.4%) and Australian Defense (62.1%) round out the portfolio, while the Slav Defense sits at 35.9% and is presumably where LuessiT goes to practice humility.

Rivalries: The Ones Who Keep Coming Back

  • species8473: 9 games, 9 wins, 0 losses. That is not a rivalry, that is a recurring donation program.
  • cmac1ply: 12-1 across 13 games, the closest anyone has come to an upset.
  • Mohamed Magdy: the nemesis, leading the head-to-head 7-2. Every great story needs a villain.
  • libertatea: dead even at 5-6, proving chess diplomacy is not entirely dead.
  • mulhollandtwin: 7-2-1, including a draw LuessiT probably still thinks about.

Playing Style: The Patient Grinder

  • Endgames show up in 70% of LuessiT's games, and wins average a leisurely 71 moves. This is not fireworks, it is a siege with excellent bookkeeping.
  • Early resignation rate: 1.19%. LuessiT does not quit. LuessiT waits.
  • Comeback rate: 80.64%, including wins in over half the games where an entire piece was casually dropped. Do not celebrate early.
  • The queen has delivered 4,694 checks, the rook 3,978, and even the king has checked 14 times. Everyone works in this family.
  • Only 3% of losses are one-sided, which means opponents usually lose slowly, and somehow that is worse.
  • 707 wins arrived via the clock, because grinding people down does not always require checkmate.
  • Best hour: 4 a.m., with an 80% win rate. Worst hour: noon, at a merely mortal 49.5%. Lunch is the real danger.
  • Tilt factor: 12, on whatever scale that is. Ice water in the veins.

How to Survive a Game Against LuessiT

The scouting report is short. Do not grab the poisoned pawn. Do not drift into a long endgame, because that is where the 70% version of this player lives. And above all, do not schedule your games at 4 a.m., because that is when the 80% version logs in. Rated games clearly matter here, given the 54-point rated-versus-casual gap, so take all three days in daily chess and spend them wisely. Meanwhile, rapid chess remains a mysterious, perfect 3-for-3 footnote, which means the true final boss has technically never lost a game type he has bothered to finish.
