The Rise of Mikey Groves
Some players ease into chess. Mikey Groves, known on the board as mikeygroves, apparently decided one morning that losing was no longer on the agenda. After humble blitz beginnings back in 2012, Mikey disappeared into the grind and emerged as one of the most relentless bullet players around, eventually peaking at a stunning 2724 (2026-09-14).
The numbers border on absurd: tens of thousands of bullet games, a longest winning streak of 16 games, and a comeback rate of 87.34%. If Mikey drops a piece, the sensible assumption is that it was bait.
