Todd Andrews, known online as MusicCityMaster, is a FIDE Master whose chess has a rhythm all its own. A lifelong devotee of Blitz, Todd treats the clock like a metronome: he taps it, never rushes, and somehow produces more melody under pressure than at rest. With hundreds of online games that the interface has, he is a true fan of action.
He's a Blitz Kid
If Todd has a true love, it's the three-minute dash. His blitz numbers are basically a national holiday, and the best time to catch him is exactly at midnight, when the chess gods apparently feel most generous.
Opening Champions
Todd is a romantic with a sharp edge. He keeps things spicy by turning up on the board with the Burmese Gambit and, when in need of a fortress, he loves to go with the Sicilian Defense.
Actually, the data shows a magnetic pull toward the French Defense as his main event, with hundreds of games and a winning record around 50%. When he wants to lure a challenger, he flips the board and plays the Benko Gambit, hoping they will grab a pawn and let him own the countdown. To reveal history is not enough for him, however: his favorite is the Amazon Attack.
