Hi prafulv, here is some personalized feedback to help you climb beyond your current 207 (2024-09-29)!

What you’re already doing well

  • Tactical eyesight. In your win against IPOCIAN you found the neat 16.Nd6! fork and later converted with precise checks. That shows good calculation in sharp positions.
  • Confidence to grab material. You are not afraid to collect loose pawns (e.g. Qxb7, Qxa7, etc.), which is a useful skill once it is supported by sound piece activity.
  • Playing actively with Black. Your French-type setups often generate early counter-play …c5/…d5 and queen activity, keeping opponents under pressure.

Most urgent improvement areas

  1. Early queen adventures are a double-edged sword.
    Game snippets such as
(loss vs RodanOP) and 5.Qxb7 show that your queen often comes out before your minor pieces. Against higher-rated opponents this costs tempo and gets you behind in development.
    Action plan:
    • For the next 20 games, set yourself a rule: “No queen move before move 7 unless it wins material or prevents mate.”
    • Replace lines beginning 1.e3/2.c3 with a more principled structure such as the London (1.d4 & 2.Bf4) or Queen’s Pawn (1.d4 & 2.c4). They give you familiar, solid setups without forcing early queen sorties.
  2. King safety & castling.
Several games feature the king wandering to e2/d2 (e.g. IPOCIAN, QA123000). While it sometimes works, most losses start with your king stuck in the centre.
Action plan: Make castling a priority. During post-game review ask yourself “Could I have castled by move 10?” If the answer is “yes”, adjust your move order next time.
  3. Development before pawn grabs.
In the loss to majandrone you grabbed on b2/b4/far pawns but fell behind on pieces. A simple checklist can help:
    • Are all my minor pieces out?
    • Is my king safe?
    • Do I have at least equal control of the centre?
If two answers are “no”, skip the pawn grab.
  4. Time management / disconnects.
A few results show “game abandoned”. Even small connection issues hurt rating and momentum.
Action plan: Play when your connection is stable, and consider using Settings → Pre-Move to save seconds in forced recaptures.

Study & practice menu

  • 10 minutes per day on puzzles: focus on pins, forks and removal of defender.
  • After each game, replay it once without the engine and write down one “next-time rule” (e.g. “castle before move 10”).
  • Play a mini-match (5 games) against a friend or bot where you must castle before move 8—this builds the habit quickly.

Keep the attacking spirit, but anchor it in sound development and king safety. With these tweaks I expect you to break the 600-rating barrier soon. Good luck, and enjoy your games!
