  • Second pass (3–5 minutes): check opening move orders that wasted time or allowed opponent counterplay.
  • Final pass: set up the critical position and practice the winning continuation until you can see it in 1–2 seconds.

  • 10 minutes: warmup — run the first 6 moves of your main opening lines out loud while looking at the clock.
  • 15 minutes: tactics sprint — solve 60 tactics at bullet speed (set your trainer to 2–10 seconds per puzzle).
  • 10 minutes: endgame drill — 5 basic rook endings and 5 king+pawn races.
  • Optional 10–15 minutes: 5–10 bullet games implementing the time-reserve rule (never below 3 seconds).
