Jiri Bouska: The FIDE Master Behind TheINfinity011

Jiri Bouska, better known to the online chess world as TheINfinity011, is a FIDE Master whose username sounds like a Bond villain's handle or a very confident dial-up modem. The results suggest the confidence is earned. In roughly a year and a half he has played more than 1,600 blitz and bullet games, a pace of nearly three per day, climbing from the 1700s to a blitz peak of 2737 (2026-03-10) and a bullet peak of 2827, all while treating 86-move online marathons as a perfectly normal hobby.

  • Title: FIDE Master
  • Home turf: blitz and bullet chess
  • Signature dish: the Exchange French, served completely symmetric
  • Known for: long endgames, short farewells, and refusing to panic

The 900-Point Spring Heist

Most rating climbs are mortgages: slow, painful, and decades long. Jiri's was a heist. In March 2025 he entered the blitz pool around 1735 and won all seven games he played that month. By the end of April he was brushing 2600, a gain of nearly 900 points in about eight weeks, and by summer the 2600s were simply where he lived. He kept refining from there, eventually peaking at 2737 in March 2026. For a change of pace, he found time for 231 bullet games in May 2025 alone, apparently to relax.

Marathon Man and the Cult of the Exchange

Fair warning: bring snacks. Jiri's games average in the mid-80s for move count, and an impressive 82.8% of them march all the way into the endgame. With the white pieces his loyalty is absolute: of 437 first moves recorded in 2025, 411 were 1.e4 and exactly one was 1.d4, possibly the result of a lost bet. His weapon of choice is the French Defense: Exchange Variation, a line so symmetric it is basically a handshake, yet he has squeezed a 57.6% blitz win rate out of it. He trades down into the Caro-Kann Defense: Exchange Variation with equal enthusiasm and posts a spicy 66.7% score against the Sicilian Defense: Najdorf Variation.

The temperament is the twist. His comeback rate sits at 87.6% and only 0.88% of his losses are one-sided; when he goes down, it is a knife fight to the final move rather than a mugging. He extends opponents the same courtesy, resigning early 62% of the time instead of lingering in lost positions, which makes him one of the politer assassins on the site. His favorite poking stick is the queen, his most common checking piece by a mile.

Rivalries and Nemesis Management

Every grinder has a bench of familiar faces. Against Akeem Brown, his most frequent sparring partner, Jiri leads the series 9-5-2, and he also banks points against Paul Rohwer (8-3) and Димитрий Король (8-2). Then come the problem children: Nitish Belurkar and Johnathan Bakalchuk each hold a 10-2-1 edge over him, a two-man kryptonite committee, while Veronika Shubenkova noses ahead in their series at 8-7. Every hero needs a nemesis; Jiri appears to have bulk-ordered two.

The Lunchtime Assassin

Jiri's win rate peaks around 2 pm, where it touches 100%, and Fridays have been flawless as well (sample size small, aura enormous). Do not, under any circumstances, schedule a game for 10 pm, an hour in which his win rate is a crisp 0%. Sundays are also hazardous at 66.7%. The pattern is clear: challenge him at lunch and hope he has not read this bio.

Legacy in Progress

A FIDE Master with a 2737 blitz peak, a bullet rating that cracked 2800, and the patience to grind out 86-move online battles, Jiri Bouska is exactly what TheINfinity011 advertises: a player who treats the clock as a suggestion and the endgame as home turf. The lone 1.d4 experiment has not been repeated. The rest of the server has been duly warned.
