Zenua1: The Bullet Chess Marathon Machine
Some players study theory. Some drill puzzles. Zenua1 just plays, then plays again. Since arriving in December 2023, Zenua1 has stacked up more than 13,000 online games, over half of them at bullet chess speed. In July 2026 alone Zenua1 played 1,309 bullet games, roughly 42 per day, every day, which is a pace most people cannot maintain at brushing their teeth.
The Great Grinding Ascent
Zenua1 started bullet life in the 1200s and spent 2024 quietly grinding through the 1100s and 1300s. Then November 2024 happened: 555 games in one month and a leap straight into the 1800s. The pattern never really changed. 941 games in February 2026, a bullet peak of 2512 (2026-05-29) in May 2026, and a blitz peak of 2443 (2026-06-17) along the way. Rapid chess exists too, it just gets visited occasionally, like a distant relative.
Zenua1's Opening Repertoire
With White it is mostly 1.e4, lately with a serious 1.f4 side quest: the Bird Opening shows up in 342 bullet games alone. Opponents answer with the Scandinavian Defense (278 bullet meetings), the French Defense (256) and the Caro-Kann Defense (202), plus the occasional Barnes Defense (1...f6), because apparently respect is optional at this speed. As Black, the French Defense is the workhorse (290 bullet games), while opponents keep serving up the eccentric Amar Gambit, 234 attempts and counting, apparently hoping Zenua1 has forgotten it since last Tuesday. Zenua1 has not forgotten it since last Tuesday. The only opening that reliably fights back is the Nimzo-Larsen Attack, which holds Zenua1 to a 32% win rate from the black side.

Playing Style: The Undying Grinder
Zenua1 does not believe in resigning. The early resignation rate is 2.18%, only about 4% of losses are one-sided, and the comeback rate is a frankly rude 86%. Wins average 82 moves, and more than three quarters of all games reach a genuine endgame. As for execution: 2,768 wins have arrived by timeout against 1,464 by checkmate. The flag is the most feared attacker in this arsenal, with the queen leading the actual checking charts at 11,600+ checks delivered.

- First capture typically lands around move 6, so no cheapos, just slow strangulation.
- Best hour: 18:00, nearly 52% wins. Worst hour: 13:00. Do not schedule bullet at lunch.
- Sunday shines at 49.6%; Thursday and Monday are the pain days.
- Vs lower-rated players: 66% wins. Vs higher-rated players: 29%. A textbook buffet economist.
- Daily chess: 3 wins, 14 losses. Extra thinking time appears to be a handicap.
- 142 career stalemates, each one a hard-fought shrug.
Rivalries and Recurring Guests
Every online grinder has a nemesis, and Zenua1 has a1544t, faced an incredible 1,368 times for a dead-even 587 wins, 631 losses and 150 draws. That is no longer a rivalry, that is a chess marriage with joint custody of the clock. foggyanya is the friendly sparring partner at a comfortable 76-38-16 across 130 games, Professor-Dima has been held to a 25-1-4 spectator scoreline, while artemkayyy and dimonx2011 patrol the other side of the ledger as the recurring bosses.
